System Requirements for GoToAssist Seeit Customers

    You can easily join a GoToAssist Seeit session using a compatible mobile device - anytime, anywhere!

    Note: GoToAssist Seeit is also a built-in feature of the GoToAssist (Customer) App for Android . If you are an agent attempting to host a session, please see the System Requirements for GoToAssist Seeit Agents.

    Join from Android

    To join a GoToAssist Seeit session from an Android device, you will need the following:

    • Android OS 4.1.X (Jellybean) or later
    • All devices
    • 3G or Wi-Fi
    • GoToAssist Seeit app for Android - For Android OS 4.1.X (Jellybean) or later. Learn more.

    Android video and image quality

    When you use camera sharing during your session, the image and video quality can vary depending on the iOS device you are using.

    Android device
    All other Android devices 1024 x 768 352 x 288 15
    Nexus 4 1024 x 768 320 x 244 15

    Join from iOS

    To join a GoToAssist Seeit session from an iOS device, you will need the following:

    • iOS 8.1 or later
    • iPhone 5 or later
    • iPad 2 or later
    • 3G or Wi-Fi

    iOS video and image quality

    When you use camera sharing during your session, the image and video quality can vary depending on the iOS device you are using.

    Minimum bandwidth requirements

    For a good user experience, both the customer and agent should have the following minimum bandwidth requirements upstream & downstream:

    Type of session Kilobits per second
    Audio & video (combined) 350 kbps
    Video only (per stream) 300 kbps
    Audio only (per stream) 50 kbps
