Special Characters are not sent on my iPhone. What can I do?
A new iOS 11 feature called Smart Punctuation can block special character input.
Symptom
On an iPhone connected to a host computer, special characters are not sent.
Resolution
- On your iOS device, tap Settings.
- Under General, select Keyboard.
- Disable Smart Punctuation.
