I get a Microsoft Common Language Runtime error when I try to run or install LogMeIn Pro. What should I do?

Update your Microsoft Common Language Runtime to resolve this issue on Windows.

Windows Vista or higher

  1. Open Windows Update from the Control Panel.
  2. Select the Microsoft Common Language update.

Windows XP SP3

  1. Open Windows Update from Start > All Programs.
  2. Select the Microsoft Common Language update.

If you are having problems updating the runtime, run the LogMeIn Pro MSI installer directly.

  1. Log in to your LogMeIn Pro account.
  2. On the Computers page, click Download now or Add Computer, and follow the instructions carefully.
