How do I resolve 'Error 10009'?
You have to restart the host to fix this issue.
You are immediately disconnected when attempting to start Remote Control when the host is a Mac. You also receive the following error message in the details of the resulting dialog box:
Failed to start Remote Control process: 10009
Restart the host computer, as follows:
- If you have direct access to the Mac, simply reboot as normal
- If connecting remotely, log in to LogMeIn.com and go to the Home page. Connect to the computer and then go to .
Once the computer is restarted, Remote Control access should be restored.
