Background Access for Mobile
Background Access for Mobile allows you to access Windows computers and perform maintenance tasks from Android and iOS mobile devices from a user-friendly interface without needing to remote into the computer or interrupting the end-user.
From your Android or iOS mobile device, you can perform the following tasks on any Windows computer:
- Monitor CPU and memory usage
- Reboot a computer
- Shut-down a computer
- List processes and kill unnecessary ones
- List, start and stop services
- See when there’s an active user on the computer you’re accessing
- See a detailed list of installed applications, including size, version and installation date
- Access a PowerShell terminal
- Take a screenshot of a host's main monitor
- View other system information, including OS version, CPU type, or last boot time
- Monitor drive usage
To get started with Background Access on your Mobile Device, follow the steps below:
- Open Background Access.
- Check CPU usage.
- Open Process list.
- Kill the process that uses too much CPU power.
