Why do I get a "No purchase option available" error on the app store?

    If you get a "No purchase option available..." error on the app store, you need to update your Apple ID or restore your purchase.

    You get a No purchase option available error from the Apple store.

    Remedy: Your Apple ID is already associated with a account.

    You need to either switch to an Apple ID that is not associated with an active subscription, sign in to your existing account, or make a new purchase.

    Remedy: You need to restore your purchase.

    1. In the app store, select Settings icon > Store > Restore.
    2. Restore the purchase.
      Important: You will not be charged again.
