Update HelpAlert

Newer versions/builds of the HelpAlert application are regularly released throughout the year.

These newer builds replace older, out-of-date builds, which are eventually retired. In order to ensure that representatives and managers are receiving the newest features and bug fixes, periodic updates to newer versions of HelpAlert are required. The HelpAlert software has a built-in automatic update feature that checks for the latest version of the HelpAlert software each time you log in.

Automatically update HelpAlert

  1. The first time that a user logs in to HelpAlert after a new update has been made available, they will see one of the following messages:
    • If their account is set to offer automatic upgrades, they will see "Would you like to update to HelpAlert Version XX.X Build XXXX now?". Users can click Yes to start the download.

    • If their account is set to require automatic upgrades, they will see "Please update to HelpAlert Version XX.X Build XXX now or contact your Account Manager". Users can click OK to start the download.
  2. The download will continue and users will be notified when it has completed. They will then be prompted to log in again.

Manually update HelpAlert

If the automatic download encounters an error, you can also manually download the newest version of HelpAlert that is available for your account by logging in to the Download Center at https://gotoassist.com/haupgrade using your representative (e.g., HelpAlert login) credentials.
