Reset HelpAlert Password

    If you want to change your HelpAlert password (or forgot what it was), you can easily create a new one. You may also be required to change the password at regular intervals, depending on your account configuration.

    Note: The "User-Initiated Password Reset" feature must be enabled for your company in order to reset your own password.

    Change the password via HelpAlert

    1. Launch and log in to HelpAlert.
    2. Click Options > Change Password.
    3. On the Change Password page, enter your login and current password.
    4. Enter and re-type a new password that meets the following requirements:
      • Different from your login name, first name or last name
      • Between 8 - 32 characters
      • At least 3 of the following items: uppercase alphabet [A-Z], lowercase alphabet [a-z], numbers [0-9] or special symbols [~`!@#$%^]
    5. Click Submit. You will need to exit HelpAlert and then log in again.

    Forgot your password?

    Note: The "User-Initiated Password Reset" feature must be enabled for your company in order to reset your own password.
    1. Launch the HelpAlert.exe file.On the Log In window, click the Forgot your password? link.
    2. A new web browser window will open displaying the Forgotten Password page. Enter and re-type your user login.
    3. Click Submit when finished.
      • If your login (i.e., email address) has been validated, an email containing a password reset link will be sent to your email address.
      • If your login has not yet been validated, your password reset request will be forwarded to your company manager to reset on your behalf.
