Remote Printer not Showing on the Host Machine

Follow these steps if you can't see the remote printer on the Host machine

Remember: A former Plus or Premier subscription, or a current Base module subscription is required to use this feature. You must have the Allow full Remote Controlpermission enabled to use this feature.
  1. On the Remote Access Toolbar click Customize Toolbar > Connection Options > Remote Printing.

A printer icon is displayed on the Black Remote Access Toolbar:

Note: If you see an hourglass next to the printer, the printer is attempting to connect, and you MUST wait for the printer to finalize connecting.
  2. Once the printer is connected to the host machine, navigate to the LogMeIn Control Panel.
  3. Launch the LogMeIn Control Panel and navigate to Options > Preferences > Advanced Tab.
  4. Click on the destination Printer and then click Manage.
  5. Click Print Test Page. If the test page printed out, skip to Step 14.
  6. If the test page failed, locally check the printer spoolers to see if anything is stuck in a queue.
  7. Click Windows Key + R.
  8. Type services.msc.
  9. Navigate to the Print Spooler service and stop it.
  10. Click Windows Key + R again.
  11. Type spool, and open the PRINTERS folder.
  12. Delete all the files in this location.
  13. Navigate back to the Print Spooler Service and start it.
  14. Click Print Test Page.
Note: Should your printing fail, contact your local IT Admin or seek local assistance with the printer setup.
  15. Reconnect your remote session.
