I get an error message when activating LogMeIn Antivirus. What can I do?
Either update the host software or redeploy LogMeIn Antivirus.
Symptom
When installing LogMeIn Antivirus, you see the error message: Unable to activate LogMeIn Antivirus.
Solution one: Update the LogMeIn Control Panel
On the host computer, upgrade to the most recent version of the host software. You can download the host here.
Solution Two: Redeploy the LogMeIn Antivirus configuration
- Restart the host PC.
- In LogMeIn Central, go to and select the affected host.
- Under Actions, select Install LogMeIn Antivirus
- Under LogMeIn Antivirus Policy, assign a policy to the host.
