The speed at which files are transferred is not controlled by the application itself. It is determined by the speed of the internet connection between the Client and Host computers. If however, the Host computer is on the same LAN as the client, there is no file transfer speed constraint.

There are some adjustments that can be made that may improve file transfer speed.

• Make sure all extra applications on the Host and Client computers are closed down during the session.
• You can toggle the compression settings within LogMeIn Central by going to Preferences and then to the Advanced Settings tab. By default, Best will be selected, but there may be file transfer speed improvements seen by switching to a different compression setting.
