Start Meetings in Salesforce

Organizers can start a scheduled meeting or an instant GoToMeeting Now session from Salesforce. After the meeting is over, the session details, meeting recording link, and Smart Notes (if available) will be populated in Salesforce.

Start a scheduled meeting in Salesforce

Only the Salesforce user and GoToMeeting organizer who created the scheduled meeting can start it directly from the Salesforce event details page.
  1. Log in to your Salesforce account.
  2. In Salesforce, open one of the following pages in the upper toolbar.

    • Leads
    • Contacts
    • Opportunities

  3. Under "Open Activities", locate and click the scheduled meeting.
  4. Click Start Meeting.
  5. You will be launched into a GoToMeeting session!

Start an instant GoToMeeting Now session

If you want to start an ad hoc meeting, you can click GoToMeeting Now. The meeting will automatically be created in Salesforce like a scheduled meeting, which then allows you to add invitees or to send additional invites at once.
  1. Log in to your Salesforce account.
  2. Locate and click the name to view the event details.
  3. Click GoToMeeting Now.
  4. You will be launched into a GoToMeeeting session! You can go back to edit the meeting subject, add invitees,and more. Once customized, click Save & Send Invite.
