Transfer files on an Android device
Here's what you can do in File Manager on Android.
Action | Description |

Open Local Files | Tap the Local Files page to view files that are available on your phone or tablet.
Tip: To copy photos from your phone to a remote computer, tap Browse and navigate to the Camera folder on your phone. On Android, it's generally the DCIM\Camera folder in your phone's internal storage.

View a file | To open a file, tap it.
You should be able to open these common file types on most devices:

Move back a level | To move back, tap a folder name at the top of the page. |
Other options | Add a new folder, sort the files in a folder, or select multiple files in a folder. |
Copy files from an Android device to a computer or cloud
You can transfer files and folders from your phone or tablet to your PC or Mac.
What to do next:
Tip: On iOS, you can use iTunes File Sharing to move files into Documents (called Local Files on your device). From there, you can transfer them easily to your host computers or to a cloud storage service. This may not be available if you are using an older iPhone or iPod touch.
