    Note: We often make new features and services available to only a subset of users so we can learn from user behavior and resolve issues. This means that sometimes different user experiences are available simultaneously, which helps us make our products better for all users. The content is ordered as follows:

    What's new in the web app

    What's new in the web app (WBU July 1.0) - July 14, 2022
    New:
    • External Admins and Users can now remotely restart GoToMyPC or their host computer(s) via the Access Activity or Computers tab in the application. The feature is supported with the respective LogEvents in the background allowing for a seamless debugging experience.
    Fixes:
    • Added a missing dialog on the corporate SSO Login page, so that users can now give consent to use SSO for logging in.
    What's new in the web app (WBU June 3.0) - June 28, 2022
    New:
    • GoToMyPC Internal Administrators can now initiate service or system restarts in bulk by providing the machine keys in a comma-separated format.
    What's new in the web app (WBU June 2.0) - June 15, 2022

    This release introduces some under the hood improvements.

    What's new in the web app (WBU May 2.0) - May 24, 2022
    • GoToMyPC users, regardless of their plan, can now utilize all the benefits of LastPass Premium at no additional cost.
    • Starting from this release LastPass Authenticator is the only supported two-factor authentication tool for GoToMyPC.
    • IA administrators can enable or disable two-factor authentication for users belonging to their domain.
    What's new in the web app (WBU May 1.0) - May 9, 2022
    • We removed the 'Ask me for install update' checkbox to introduce the automatic update feature for GoToMyPC for every user regardless of their subscription plan.
    What's new in the web app (WBU March 1.0) - March 11, 2022
    • This release replaces obsolete *logmein.com URLs to *goto.com for admin logins.
    • No new licenses are sold to end-users based in Russia and Belarus
    What's new in the web app (WBU Feb 1.0) - February 3, 2022
    Improvements:
    • Redesigned the login page to provide a better overview of the features

    This release also introduces some minor changes concerning self-service cancellation and branding updates.

    • Added Mexican VAT number for customers based in Mexico
    • Enabled manual upgrade from trial accounts to paid plans

    Improvements
    • BETA users can now use the Client App after logging in.
    • GoToMyPC Corporate customers can now activate or deactivate GoTo Antivirus on selected computer groups in the Manage GoTo Antivirus menu.
    Fixes
    • macOS 12 Monterey is now fully supported.
    • Fixed the format of GST numbers for customers based in New Zealand.

    What's new in the web app (WBU Aug 1.0) - August 12, 2021
    New
    • Experience optimizer

      The Experience-optimizer feature checks your internet speed and the current load of your host and/or client computer at the beginning of each remote session, and adjusts the session settings automatically to optimize your remote session experience. You can read more about the feature here.

    • Client App - Beta version

      We are thrilled to announce our brand new Client App that lists all the computers added to a user account and offers seamless and lightning-fast remote access to them. You can read more about the app here.

      • Uncompromised security through the brand new PIN-concept.
    Improvements and fixes
    • The IP address and the city are displayed in the Access Activity page.
    • US entity address is now updated in invoices and e-mails.

    • Users can sign up to the Corporate Trial feature from the GoToMyPC website.
    • Auto renewal is implemented for Corporate Trial and Corporate Ecom accounts.
    What's new in the web app (WBU Feb 1.0) - Feb. 17, 2021
    • A new GTMPC tutorial video is now available on the Manager home page for corporate accounts.
    What's new in the web app (WBU Jan 2.0) - Jan. 19, 2021
    • Fixed an issue on the Single-Tap approval page, so now the refresh function works as expected.
    • Minor UI updates on the two-factor authentication page.

    What's new in the desktop app

    What's new in the desktop app (12.5) - July 18, 2022
    New:
    • Mac users can now remotely restart GoToMyPC or their host computer(s) from the application.
    • This release introduces a new screen blanking method ensuring backward compatibility. The new method can be enabled while the host computer is in the session.
    Fixes:
    • "Lock host screen when connecting or disconnecting" and "Make host screen blank while connected" security settings now work as expected.
    What's new in the desktop app (12.3) MAC ITO - June 24, 2022
    New:
    • Added the option to configure security time-out on Mac computers in the Setting tab. Users can now set the number of inactive minutes to trigger time-out. GoToMyPC sends a pop-up notification when it detects inactivity and allows users to keep the session active or disconnect.
    What's new in the desktop app (12.4) - June 15, 2022
    New:
    • Changed the version format to include the four digits of the calendar year.
    • This release introduces various under the hood enhancements that contribute to a better user experience concerning automatic updates, antivirus management and crash reporting.
    Fixes:
    • Crashpad_handler now gets launched in every possible scenario to enhance reporting in Windows and Mac environments.
    • Every third party executable used by GoToMyPC is now digitally signed.
    What's new in the desktop app (12.3) - May 9, 2022
    New
    • We removed the 'Ask me for install update' checkbox to introduce the automatic update feature for GoToMyPC for every user regardless of their subscription plan.
    What's new in the desktop app (12.2) - April 19, 2022
    Fixes
    • The What's new link now opens from the respective menu item in the Service menu
    • The Diagnostics feature and dialog work as expected
    • Implemented stability improvements for mac users
    What's new in the desktop app (12.1) - February 2, 2022
    Fixes
    • G2P viewer now works as expected while performing on demand session diagnosis or silent speed test or any other actions.
    • Optimized settings (screen resolution, low quality audio, color depth, etc) are now reverted even if the viewer quits due to inactivity timeout.
    • Notification on the completion of optimalization and its setting in the Tools menu is now presented in all scenarios.
    • Experience optimization is performed even when speed test has failed.
    • Users can now enable or disable auto-scroll in multi-monitor setups.
    • Users can now restart the print spooler service from the Viewer menu.
    • Fixed an issue when the special Windows function keys triggered actions outside GoToMyPC on mac computers running macOS Monterey 12.0.1

    • Added additional pop-up messages on session disconnect at the viewer end to inform Personal and Pro users if GoTo Antivirus powered by Bitdefender is not installed on their Windows host computer.
    • Upon uninstalling GoToMyPC GoTo Antivirus is disabled.
