How to Send a File to a Customer

LogMeIn Rescue Technician Console

Follow this procedure to send a single file to a customer via LogMeIn Rescue.

You can only send one file at a time.

  1. On the Chat console, click the Send File button.

    Send File

    The Open dialog box is displayed.

  2. Select the file you want to send to the customer and click Open. The customer is prompted to save the file.
  3. Ask the customer to choose a location and click Save. The file is saved to the customer's chosen location.
An MD5 fingerprint is generated and communicated to both the technician and the customer in the log.
