Symptoms

  • You experience issues when accessing secure.logmeinrescue.com
  • You receive a communication error in the Tech Console when accessing secure.logmeinrescue.com

Solution

Internet Explorer

Modify your Internet Explorer settings to enforce TLS 1.0.
  1. In IE, click Tools > Internet options.
  2. Go to the Advanced tab.
  3. Scroll to the security portion in the Settings window. Remove the check marks for SSL, and ensure that TLS 1.0 is selected.
  4. Click Apply and restart the browser.
  5. Restart the Technician Console.
Add trusted sites to IE. 
  1. In IE, click Tools > Internet options.
  2. Go to the Security tab.
  3. Select Trusted Sites and then click the Sites button.
  4. Add the following sites: *.logmein.com; *.logmeinrescue.com, *.accounts.logme.in
  5. Save your changes
  6. Restart the Tech Console
