Why can't I login to my LogMeIn computer without a password?
In order to provide the highest level of security, we require that you login with a Windows account that has a password and is either:
- An Administrator (Local or Domain)
- A non Administrator that has been added within Access Control List.
If LogMeIn is installed on a computer that does not have a password secured Administrator account, it will ask you to create a computer Access Code. This code is actually linked to a hidden Administrator account called LogMeInRemoteUser to satisfy the above security criteria.
If the above criteria is not met, you will not be able to login and will need to physically be at the LogMeIn machine to change the user's Windows password.
