How do I fix a 'Performance Viewer ActiveX Control' error?
Removing this control from the local system and reinstalling it usually solves this problem.
First, end your remote control session.
In Internet Explorer:
- Click Tools, then click Manage Add-ons.
- Next to "Show:", select Add-ons that have been used by Internet Explorer.
- Find Performance Viewer ActiveX Control in the list and remove it.
Next time you connect to the target, you will be prompted to install the ActiveX plugin again.
