Why isn't the "Unlock with Biometrics" feature for LastPass working on my Android device?

If you are encountering issues with using biometrics for the LastPass Password Manager app on your Android device, you can follow the troubleshooting steps below to fix the issue.

Note:  Navigation may vary depending on your mobile device type and version of Android OS.
  1. Delete all fingerprint or facial recognition biometrics – learn how here.
  2. Disable the lock screen security (and remove your swipe pattern, if present) – learn how here.
  3. Re-enable the lock screen security (and add a new swipe pattern, if desired) – learn how here.
  4. Set up Fingerprint or Face Unlock biometrics on your Android device.
  5. Set up Fingerprint or Face Unlock for the LastPass Password Manager app.
