Why am I seeing a message "Error: Please verify your email" in LastPass?

In order to be able to verify that you have access to the email address you use for your LastPass account, you are required to verify it at least once. LastPass uses this as a preliminary means of verification, which is required initially when you set up your account, and must be done before using the following features:

  • Sharing an item for the first time
  • Adding users to your trial account

You can verify your access to your LastPass account by clicking a verification link that is sent to your LastPass email address. Please note that if you have added a security email address to your account, please check that inbox first.
