What has changed for the LastPass business plan packages?

LastPass has refreshed our Enterprise and Identity packages to provide the flexibility and freedom for businesses to only pay for the features that accommodate the needs of their organization.

What has changed, and when?

Since June 15, 2021, LastPass business package offerings are now comprised of the following:

Base Offering:

LastPass Business

New!
LastPass Business will include Families as a Benefit, which provides a premium LastPass account for each employee's personal use and up to five (5) accounts for those closest to them to ensure that both professional and personal lives are protected. This will be added to the product in July 2021.

Additional Offerings (add-ons):

Advanced Single Sign-On

What's new with the new LastPass Business packaging?

Customer feedback is at the core of our new business package. Conversations with business users have driven many recent changes to LastPass; a few exciting updates are:

Families as a Benefit

Coming this July, Families as a Benefit will be available to every LastPass Business account. Businesses can grant each end-user their own LastPass Families account to secure their personal life, plus five (5) additional licenses to share with their family or friends.

Admin Console Updates
Over the last few months, we’ve released a new, comprehensive Admin Console to aid admins in account management and to drive end-user adoption. We’re continuing our optimization efforts, driving towards a more streamlined and simplified admin experience.
Feature Improvements
We’ve advanced our single sign-on and multifactor authentication options, too. Accessing and adding SSO apps is easier than ever, and the LastPass Authenticator applications have been combined into one easy-to-use app.

Why have these changes happened?

As businesses grow in their identity journey, they require flexibility to add access and/or authentication requirements to meet their security goals.

LastPass has refreshed our business packages to create clear offerings with distinct single sign-on (SSO) and multifactor authentication (MFA) add-ons to allow businesses to choose the package that delivers exactly what they need, while providing the options to meet their evolving security requirements.

Over time, we will continue to add new features and integrations to enhance the value of the LastPass Business suite. This will allow LastPass to continue to be the leader in password management while giving businesses the tools they need for success in access and authentication as they continue to grow in their identity journey.
