I am locked out of my LastPass MFA account, what should I do?

  • If you forgot your biometric pattern (and did not set up a secondary biometric option), you can reinstall the LastPass MFA app, then re-register your device with your LastPass MFA account using a new registration email (by contacting your LastPass admin to send you a new one, or learn how to send yourself a new registration email).
  • If you forgot your LastPass email address, please contact your LastPass admin for assistance.
  • If you received a notification that your Location Services are off and you are unable to use the LastPass MFA app to log into your accounts, follow these instructions to turn on Location Services for your iOS or Android device.
