How do I manually sync my LastPass account data?

If you recently added or updated data stored in your account but do not yet see the changes in your LastPass Vault, you can manually force a sync using the LastPass web browser extension.

  1. In your web browser toolbar, click the inactive LastPass icon .
  2. Enter your email address and your LastPass Master Password, then click Log In.
  3. Click the active LastPass icon in your toolbar, then do one of the following (based on your navigational experience):
    • Go to More OptionsAdvancedRefresh Sites to force a sync of your Vault data.
    • Go to Account Options > AdvancedRefresh Sites to force a sync of your Vault data.

If your Vault syncing issues are not resolved, you can clear your local cache for your active session.

  1. Click the active LastPass icon in your toolbar, then do one of the following (based on your navigational view):
    • Go to Account Options > Advanced > Clear Local Cache.
    • Go to More OptionsAdvancedClear Local Cache.
  2. Log out of LastPass, then log back in to access your Vault and confirm that your data has synced.
