How do I import Wi-Fi passwords into LastPass?
LastPass has the ability to import Wi-Fi passwords into your LastPass Vault.
Note: Importing Wi-Fi passwords into your Vault on macOS is not currently supported.
Using the Import Passwords feature for Windows
You can import your Wi-Fi passwords into your LastPass Vault by running the LastPass Universal Installer for Windows, then running a separate Import Passwords feature (which is included in the installer).
Before you begin: In order to proceed, you must have administrative privileges on your machine.
- Navigate to the LastPass Downloads page at https://lastpass.com/misc_download2.php.
- Locate the LastPass Universal Windows Installer, then click Download.
- Save then run the LastPassInstaller.exe file.
- Optional: Select only the web browsers for which you want to install the LastPass web browser extension.
- Click Install.
The browsers you selected will open and now display an inactive LastPass icon
in your web browser toolbars.
- Click Close when installation is complete.
- On your Windows machine, search for the Import Passwords application, then run it.
- Select Log In to Existing Account.
- Enter your email address and Master Password, then click Log In.
- When prompted, click Import.
- When prompted that your Wi-Fi passwords have been successfully imported, click OK.
Your Wi-Fi passwords are imported successfully into your LastPass Vault.

How do I import my Wi-Fi passwords using the LastPass web browser extension for Internet Explorer?
- Open Internet Explorer.
- Click the inactive LastPass icon

- Enter your email address and Master Password, then click Log In.
You are now logged in to the LastPass web browser extension for Internet Explorer.
- Click the active LastPass icon
in your toolbar.
- Go to .
- If prompted with a message that the LastPass Wi-Fi utility must be installed, click OK, then download and run the installer. Otherwise, click Import when prompted.
Your Wi-Fi passwords have now been imported into your LastPass Vault.
