Can I log in to multiple LastPass accounts on the same computer?
If you are using a single web browser, you can only log in to one LastPass account at a time. However, if you use one or more web browsers, you can disable the shared login state in each LastPass web browser extension so that you can log in to separate accounts simultaneously. If you are using Chrome, you can use different profiles to accomplish this as well.
To disable the shared login state between web browsers, do the following:
- In your web browser toolbar, click the LastPass icon .
- Go to Preferences or Account Options > Preferences > Advanced > Uncheck the Share login state between other browsers option.
- Click Save, then restart your web browser for changes to take effect.
- Once restarted, you can open each web browser window and log in to separate LastPass accounts on each.
Note: This option is only supported on web browsers where the Binary Component is installed. Learn more.
For users that have the LastPass for Applications or the LastPass Mac desktop app installed, you will need to uncheck the "Share Login State" option in the program(s) as well as within your web browser extension Preferences.
