As a LastPass admin, how can I resend the activation email for using LastPass MFA?

For LastPass admins who have a LastPass MFA or LastPass Identity business account, you can resend the LastPass MFA activation email for individual users or in bulk to all required users.

Note: LastPass admins cannot resend the MFA activation email to users that have a "Staged" status.

Resend to an individual user

  1. Log in and access the Admin Console at https://lastpass.com/company/#!/dashboard.
  2. Select MFA or SSO & MFA in the left navigation.
  3. Select Users in the left navigation.
  4. Select your desired user.
  5. Click Resend Activation.

    Result: A new activation email is sent to the user with instructions on how to activate LastPass MFA.

    Note: If you have a LastPass Identity account, the user will also receive an additional email with instructions on how to activate their LastPass business account.

Resend to all required users

You can send the LastPass MFA activation email in bulk to all users that are required to activate and use the LastPass MFA app, including the following:
  • Users who are enforced by policy to authenticate using the LastPass MFA app
  • Users who are assigned to an SSO app that uses the LastPass MFA app for authentication
  • Users who have not yet activated the LastPass MFA app
  1. Log in and access the Admin Console at https://lastpass.com/company/#!/dashboard.
  2. Select MFA or SSO & MFA in the left navigation.
  3. Select Users in the left navigation.
  4. Click Invite Required MFA Users.

    Result: A new activation email is sent to all required users with instructions on how to activate LastPass MFA.
