How do I transcribe my recordings and videos?
Transcription is the text representation of your webinar. You can transcribe your webinar recording and uploaded videos, and then display the text for attendees who view or watch the recording on GoTo Stage.
Organizers can do the following in the
Transcripts tab:
- Search for keywords
- Copy the transcript and paste it anywhere
- Make edits
Note: GoTo Webinar currently only supports transcripts in English.
Enable the auto-transcribe setting
Auto-Transcribe allows
GoTo Webinar to automatically transcribe all recordings and uploaded videos. If you don't want all your sessions transcribed, you can manually generate them.
- Sign in to your account at https://dashboard.gotowebinar.com.
- Select the Settings icon in the left menu.
- Open the Recording section and enable the Auto-Transcribe setting.
Generate transcripts
You can choose which
webinar recording or video you want to transcribe.
- Sign in to your account at https://dashboard.gotowebinar.com.
- Select the Video Library icon in the left menu.
- Select next to the desired video and Edit Transcript.
- Select Generate Transcript.
Results: The transcript will be processed and become available soon.
Edit a transcript
View transcripts (attendees)
- Open the webinar recording link.
- Transcripts automatically appear under the recording.
- Optional: Search the transcript for keywords.
