Start a Meeting from GoToRoom

GoToRoom is an all-in-one hardware system that lets you set up a small to mid-sized conference room to be ready to join and host meetings in an instant. Learn more about GoToRoom.

 

Start an instant "Meet Now" session

A "Meet Now" session uses the conference room's GoToMeeting account. You do not need to log in to your own to start and instant meeting.

  1. Enter the conference room. Your GoToRoom system is always running and ready.
  2. On the Touch Panel, tap Meet Now in the right menu and Start Meeting.
  3. Invite others to join the meeting by sharing the 9-digit meeting ID or sending them an email.
 

Start your own pre-scheduled meeting

If you have your own GoToMeeting account, you can use the GoToRoom system to host the meetings that you have scheduled ahead of time.

  1. Schedule a meeting using your own GoToMeeting account. You can also use your personal meeting page.
  2. Enter the conference room.
  3. On the Touch Panel, tap Join in the right menu.
  4. Enter your meeting's 9-digit meeting ID or your personal meeting page name, then tap Go.
  5. You'll be launched into the waiting room of your meeting as an attendee. Tap start the meeting to log in and be launched into session.
  6. Invite others to join the meeting by sharing the 9-digit meeting ID or sending them an email.
 

Start a meeting scheduled from your integrated calendar

After you integrate your Office 365, Microsoft Exchange, or Google Calendar service to GoToRoom, you can schedule meetings from your calendar and book the conference room as the meeting location.

  1. Enter the conference room.
  2. On the Touch Panel, tap Upcoming in the right menu.
  3. Locate your scheduled meeting and tap Start to be launched into session.
  4. Share your screen or content and invite others to join the meeting.
