Manage Attendees during Meetings (Web App)

The Attendees pane displays a list of all the participants in a session. From this pane, you can promote, mute/unmute, and dismiss attendees. Click the Attendees icon in the toolbar to open the Attendees pane.

View audio status

The Attendees pane uses icons to describe the status of the fellow participants in your session.

Audio icons
User is connected via VoIP and unmuted
User is connected via VoIP and has muted themselves or has been muted by the organizer
None User is attempting to connect to audio
User is connected via phone and unmuted
User is connected via phone and has muted themselves or has been muted by the organizer

Mute or unmute an attendee

1. Click the Attendee icon in the toolbar.

2. To mute or unmute an attendee, you can do the following:

  • Click the Mic or Phone icon next to the desired name.
  • Click the More icon next to the desired attendee, and click Mute or Unmute.

Mute or unmute all attendees

1. Click the Attendee icon in the toolbar.

2. Click the More icon next to Meeting Attendees.

3. In the drop-down menu, click Mute All or Unmute All.

Make an attendee Presenter or organizer

1. Click the Attendee icon in the toolbar.

2. Click the More icon next to the attendee's name.

3. In the drop-down menu, select one of the following:

  • Make presenter: The presenter has the ability to share their screen with other attendees during a session. As an organizer, you can make another attendee the presenter at any time (which does not cause them to automatically become an organizer). The Presenter will then be able to make anyone else a presenter after them.
  • Make organizer: You can make someone a co-organizer before the session begins so that they can start the session if you are unable to.

4. Click Yes to confirm.

Dismiss an attendee

You can remove an attendee from a session by dismissing them. They will then automatically leave the session and be notified that they were excused.

1. Click the Attendee icon in the toolbar.

2. Click the More icon next to the attendee's name.

3. In the drop-down menu, click Excuse.

4. Click Yes to confirm.
