How do timezones work with scheduling?

When you schedule a meeting, we recommend that you schedule based on your own primary timezone. This ensures that it will be displayed on the My Meetings page in your own timezone so that you know the correct time to start the meeting.
Note that while it is possible for you to select a timezone other than your own (based on your computer's time zone) while scheduling a meeting, once you click Save the invitation text will display the date/time in your computer's time zone, regardless of the one you selected while scheduling.
When you create the meeting request in your Calendar application before you copy and paste the meeting info from the web, you should select the same time as shown in your My Meetings page and the invitation text.
The attendee’s Calendar application will automatically adjust for the difference in timezones.
