Create a Personal Meeting Page

You can create your own personalized meeting page by reserving a URL and customizing the look and feel of your meeting page. Reserving a meeting page allows you to quickly launch a meeting and have attendees join at the same URL each time (without having to send out an invite for each meeting), which is ideal for recurring or spur-of-the-moment meetings.

Note: Starting October 2016, all new organizers will be automatically assigned a personal meeting page. While you can change the reserved room name to the name of your choice, you will not be able to skip the step or opt out of a personal meeting page.


Create a meeting page

  1. Log in at
  2. Click Settings in the top menu.
  3. Under "Personal meeting page", click Let's get started!.
  4. Choose a name for your meeting page; this name will appear at the end of the URL "<your meeting page>". If the name is available, you will see a check mark next to the box. If the name is already taken, you will see a message telling you to enter a different name.
  5. Click Reserve when finished, then customize your new meeting page!


Customize your meeting page

  1. Log in at
  2. Next to your personal meeting room name, click Edit.
  3. A pop-up window will provide you will the following customization options:
    • Profile tab – Change the URL or name of the meeting page, enter personal information about yourself and choose a color theme. You can also click the Avatar icon to upload a picture for the meeting page.
    • Audio tab – Select the audio options that should be available to attendees joining your meetings.
    • Co-organizers tab – Add co-organizers to your meeting page, which will allow them to launch the meeting on your behalf.
    • Password tab – If desired, you can require that attendees enter a password to join your meeting.
  1. Click Preview to see what your meeting page will look like with the changes you made.
  2. Click Save when finished. Go to your meeting page to see how it looks!


Change your meeting page's URL

  1. Log in at
  2. Next to your personal meeting room name, click Edit.
  3. On the Profile tab, change the link of the meeting page. This will free up your former URL for another GoToMeeting user.
  4. Click Save when finished.

3. On the Profile tab, change the URL of the meeting page. This will free up your former URL for another GoToMeeting user.

Start your personal meeting

  1. You can start your personal meeting page in either of the following ways:
    • On the My Meetings page, click Start your meeting.

    • Go to the URL of your personal meeting page, then click Join my meeting and Start the meeting.

  2. The GoToMeeting desktop app will automatically launch (or begin downloading if you do not have it installed on that computer).

Invite others to join your meeting page

  1. On the My Meetings home page, click Share.
  2. Click Copy to copy the meeting information to your clipboard and send it to attendees as desired.
  3. You can also simply direct attendees to open a web browser and go to your personal meeting page's URL.
