Join a Collaborative Session as an Agent via iOS

    As an agent, you can be invited to join another agent's attended or unattended support session to work together and help a customer. This allows all agents in the session to view and control the customer"s screen, retrieve diagnostic information and chat with each other and the customer. Invited agent(s) must have a GoToAssist Remote Support v4 agent seat and will be prompted to log in with their credentials when they join the support session, however, their seat is not required to be named on the same account as the agent whom invited them to join the session.

    Note: For optimal performance, no more than 4 agents are recommended per support session.

    Join from an iPhone

    Once you have been invited to join a collaborative session, you can use your iPhone to join the session, as follows:

    1. Download then open the GoToAssist (Remote Support) app for iOS.
    2. Enter your agent email address and password, then tap Log In.
    3. On the Home screen, tap the Join Session icon in the agent toolbar in the lower navigation.
    4. Enter the invitation code, then tap Join Session.

    Join from an iPad

    Once you have been invited to join a collaborative session, you can use your iPad to join the session, as follows:

    1. Download then open the GoToAssist (Remote Support) app for iOS.
    2. Enter your agent email address and password, then tap Log In.
    3. Tap the Join Session icon in the agent toolbar in the top navigation.
    4. Enter the invitation code, then tap Join Session.
