InRoom Link for Video Conference Endpoints

GoToMeeting InRoom Link enables cloud collaboration through computers, mobile devices, and SIP and H.323 conference room systems. Collaborate with other participants attending from desktop, mobile or other room systems. Learn more about supported systems.

GoToMeeting plus and 100 organizers can invite anyone to join a meeting from their video conference endpoint supporting either H.323 or SIP. Video conference endpoint attendees can use the system to connect to audio and video, and to view shared content.

Just like any GoToMeeting session, the max number of attendees depends on the organizer’s subscription plan. The video conference endpoint (H.323/SIP) counts as one attendee, which means multiple video conference endpoints can join the session

The InRoom Link experience is meant to provide a simplified connection and does not include these organizer controls:

  • You cannot start a meeting from a video conference endpoint – meetings must be started from a computer or mobile device.
  • You must join from a secondary laptop or mobile device to share content or chat. The video conference endpoint does not have the ability to participate in chats and will not display the Chat pane.
  • Video conference endpoints (H.323/SIP) cannot be promoted to the organizer or presenter role.
